Microsoft’s Live.com Search Cashback scheme is having a bad time of it lately, managing to upset customers day after day over the past week.

America had it’s annual Black Friday event last week, a day of bargains for shoppers across the country. Users of Live Search were promised a 40% cashback offer on HP products – but many complained they only received a poultry 3%. On top of that, the actual Live.com site was down most of the day.
Sadly for customers, it doesn’t end there. Today, Microsoft announced an “instant cashback” feature which allowed searchers to grab their cash immediately. The problem being, according to a blog post by the team, this is only for an undefined select amount of users, and only on eBay purchases.
Just take a look at the comments of that post, and see that no one cares anymore – they’re too pissed off to care. I really don’t think that, if Google had a similar scheme, things would be going this bad. Do you? Comments are yours!
