Stand out from the crowd – subtly, of course – with a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo Andrea lace-ups.
As if you need reminding, Christmas is now less than a week away.

We know you probably haven’t got all those presents yet, made any plans, or even splashed out a few quid on a stock of bottles for the fridge.
But it’s unavoidable – whether you like it or not. And to get to the point, that’s what we’re after. What does Christmas mean to you? Answer below!

Poll: What’s Christmas All About?
Most presents this Christmas will be fairly tame – the ladies will be inundated with bath “things”, and a huge chunk of the lads will be set for the year sock-wise.
But some presents just scream “I AM GOING TO KILL YOU THEN FEED YOU TO SATAN’S THREE-HEADED POODLE”.
What mad excuses for pressies have you spotted (or received?)

Member of Last.fm? If you aren’t, for God’s sake catch up and join. If you are, here’s a site for you.

PlayMyMusicVideos asks you simply for your Last.fm username, and after whacking it in, starts playing a stream of YouTube videos. The hook? The videos are your favourite tracks according to your Last.fm profile. Sweet!
The only flaws I can think of are pretty minor, to most people. Obviously with this being YouTube, quality often isn’t the best in the toolbox. Also, sometimes you’ll get an annoyingly weird home video some highschooler has knocked together with the tune in the background, instead of a world-class music video. But there isn’t too much that can be done about that now, is there!
The site is of course free. What does everyone think?

Ever searched Google for lyrics? Here’s a search for the lyrics to ‘I Kissed A Girl’ by the lovely Katy Perry (you all know it by now). Go try it and click the first few links. Come back once you find your way through the blast of frustrating ads and popups.

There’s other ways – without the stress. Let me answer your prayers..
LyricWiki is a huge wiki full of lyrics – perfect. Functioning and looking much like Wikipedia, you can search and also add your own lyrics to the database, or even edit incorrect lyrics. It can get addictive, but a clean way to see the lyrics you want.
SongMeanings has been around for a long time, and does more that show lyrics. On each song, catagorised by Artist/Album, there’s a good discussion around what the song and specifically the lyrics mean. Guaranteed to make you go “well I never knew that”!
Songbird, a media player we’ve covered before, has a plugin available to show the lyrics to the song now playing within the interface. How friggin’ cool is that?
LyricsPlugin is a simple add-on for either Windows Media Player or Winamp that does exactly what the Songbird plugin does – shows the lyrics within the media player interface. Yup, it’s free.
On Friendfeed? No? Why the feck not? If you are, or once you are, I’ve set up a Random Lyrics room to let you post random lyrics to songs you’re listening to. New members always welcome!
Do you have any other golden ways to find lyrics on the Web? Please, share in the comments!
